Protective Behaviours Overview

As part of our PSHE curriculum we teach the children Protective Behaviours.

Protective Behaviours can be described as ‘a safety awareness and resilience building programme which helps children and adults to recognise any situation where they feel worried or unsafe, such as feeling stressed, bullied or threatened; and explores practical ways to keep safe’ definition by ‘Safety Net’

Protective Behaviours helps children to:
 – develop an awareness of personal safety
 – identify and express their feelings
 – Make choices and solve problems
